Robert J. Merrick, O.D.

 

Dr. Merrick, who is originally from Wyandotte, MI,  moved to Northern Michigan during his grade school years. He graduated  from Onaway Area Schools in 1978. He attained his Bachelor of Science degree from Ferris State College in 1981 and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ferris State College of Optometry in 1985.

Dr. Merrick has been an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association for over 25 years. He has been very active in coaching youth hockey and has served on the board of Baraga Boosters in many key leadership positions. Dr. Merrick is currently serving as a member of the Cheboygan Board of Eductation.
